Tuesday Photo Challenge: Golden from Dutch Goes the Photo Blog!
I took these pictures when I was at the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. The pictures really doesn’t do justice for the golden hues that this great work of art displays.

It amazes me how every bit of wall and ceiling space is used.

I agree! My neck and hands would hurt painting in all those tiny areas!

The amount of gilding in the Louvre is one of the ways to tell that it was a palace. Very nice photos.
